The Cultural Racism of Libertarians
Check out the Seattle Public School System's definition of "cultural racism":

Wow.

Cultural Racism:
Those aspects of society that overtly and covertly attribute value and normality to white people and Whiteness, and devalue, stereotype, and label people of color as “other”, different, less than, or render them invisible. Examples of these norms include defining white skin tones as nude or flesh colored, having a future time orientation, emphasizing individualism as opposed to a more collective ideology, defining one form of English as standard, and identifying only Whites as great writers or composers.

"Having a future time orientation"???
Huh?
So I googled it:
"Future-oriented people, in contrast, believe in setting goals, planning how to reach them and innovating when necessary to accomplish their aims."
In contrast to what?
"Present-oriented folks think only about the here and now, not considering how their acts relate to tradition or will effect their happiness in the future."
Are they saying that only white people think ahead or something?
Now THAT is racist.

Me too Rashid. And Scott, good call on the "having a future time orientation." What the heck is that?

There in an interesting thread in the Volokh comments about FTO. My favorite:
"Isn't King's "I have a dream" speech indicative of a Future Time Orientation?"

I'm interested in "defining one form of English as standard." How do they teach spelling and grammar?
