Why is everyone so upset? Let him give us all the oil he wants. I think it is a good thing. Who cares if it hurts bush? He's a lame duck anyway. Yes, it would be better for Hugo to help his own people, but it does not follow that he would use his oil for benign purposes if he didn't give it to us.

I wouldn't say I'm upset. I don't think Paul is either. I think the point is just that it is far from a completely magnanimous gesture and a rather interesting approach.

Oh, and yes hypocritical, but to say that upsets me would be to imply that I believe hypocracy is rare in gov't leadership.
