Rickie Weeks was called up to replace Junior Spivey, as expected. Now comes word that Prince Fielder will be called up to DH in the upcoming Brewer American League road trip in Tampa Bay and Toronto.

Those guys are both pretty stinking good. Big buzz on them here in their Triple A town of Nashville. Of course, now the Sounds get a little worse. Oh well.

Nice hitting by Prince last night...I know, I know. Just sayin'. Maybe the guy wants to take a pitch or two next game.

He'll come around, just some first day jitters. Weeks showed flashes, at least. Our real problem right now is Jenkins, anyway.

The Brewers are gonna be damn good in the next few years if these dudes pan out. Hardy, Weeks, Fielder, the pitching staff, gotta give the organization a whole lotta credit.

As for Jenkins, if the Brewers pick up about $2 mil, I can see someone taking his Favre-lookin' ass off your hands.
